What Is The Difference Between Virtual Reality And Augmented Reality?

Virtual reality and augmented reality have the potential to revolutionize many industries, such as gaming, marketing/ advertising, e-commerce. VR can transport users into another virtual world where they feel like they are there with you or on their own adventure while AR enhances our view of reality by blending digital information right into real life objects so that every object has some sort of extra element attached onto it.

What is AR?

Augmented reality (AR) uses digital elements to enhance the live view of something that’s happening around you. For example, Snapchat lenses are an Augmented Reality experience where one can engage in a chat with friends while looking at their phone through these special glasses which alter what they see on screen for fun or mischief! Another popular usage of AR is Pokemon Go.

In augmentedReality(ar), instead of showing only 2d images from cameras it often combined 3D models and objects into real life scenes making them seem more immersive.

What is VR?

Virtual Reality (VR) is the next stage in computing. Using VR devices, you can be transported into a number of different virtual worlds and imaginary places to experience them first-hand! For example I have been inside an active penguin colony where it seemed like there were more squawks than birds–and no one could stop talking about how awesome their morning coffee tastes when they’re surrounded by all those chimneys coming out smokewards at us too.

The Difference Between AR and VR?

Virtual reality and augmented reality are two devices that do pretty much everything, but their specific ways of doing so make them very different. VR replaces your view of the world with another one. In this case an artificial environment where anything can happen to you without fear or consequence; AR projects information onto what we have right now so it becomes part of our own lives instead of just being seen as background scenery while using these futuristic technologies for work/play etc. They’re both powerful enough to change how people interact through computers forever if used correctly (though which will succeed first remains uncertain).

The distinctions between VR and AR come down to the devices they require, with each being used for a different purpose. For example:

VR is completely virtual while AR uses a real-world setting; users of this type can control their presence in both reality (with headgear) or fictionally by using your phone as an access point into augmented realities.
