I can understand why arts organizations have such a hard time with this, but since larger for-profit organizations got over this fear years ago, it makes arts organizations (again) look outdated. Hopefully pioneering organizations like Misnomer Dance Theater will be able to help convince other organizations to be more open! Amen!
